Why Walking Could Be the Most Underrated Habit for Your Health

When people think about getting healthier, they often focus on intense workouts or the “perfect” nutrition plan. But one of the most powerful things you can do is also one of the simplest: walk more.

Getting your daily steps in supports heart health, improves blood sugar control, helps with fat loss, boosts mood, and increases the number of calories you burn throughout the day. Not to mention, you can do all this without putting a lot of stress on your body.

As I mentioned, walking is one of my favorite activities to do on my active rest days because it also supports recovery from strength training. Increasing blood flow throughout the body can help reduce soreness.

The best workout is the one you can do consistently, and walking is a habit that almost anyone can build into their day. Whether it’s a morning walk, a lunchtime break, or an evening stroll, those steps add up over time and is especially important for my fellow remote workers out there!

If you’re ready to build healthier habits that actually fit your lifestyle, I’d love to help. My coaching is designed to help you make sustainable progress without feeling overwhelmed. Reach out to bybfitwithchase@gmail.com today, and let’s get started!
